Strengthen collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, enhance emergency preparedness and disaster response, and improve public safety communication through a dedicated city app that keeps residents informed and connected.

Promote mental health awareness and education, expand health and wellness programs for seniors, support affordable senior housing, and celebrate the community’s cultural diversity through events and celebrations.

Maintain clean, safe, and beautiful neighborhoods by protecting parks, trails, and open spaces, promoting environmental sustainability and energy conservation, and continuing to improve public facilities and community amenities.

Support Local Economic Growth
Support local small businesses, fostering a Walnut small business support group, attract quality restaurants and responsible business investment with the creation of a dedicated committee, revitalize commercial areas to generate more revenue within Walnut, and create more local employment opportunities.

Hold regular community town hall meetings, promote open, transparent, and accountable decision-making, and establish an efficient system for resident feedback and follow-up.
