ABOUT ME
赵洪博士
For more than 15 years, Walnut has been the place my family proudly calls home. Like many families, I chose Walnut because it is a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and build a future. Today, my son is a senior at UC Berkeley, which is a milestone that reflects the opportunities this country and this community have made possible for my family. As an immigrant mother, I couldn’t be more proud.
I came to the United States more than 26 years ago as an exchange scholar. I earned my master’s degree in Social Work in 2003 and later completed my doctorate at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2021. These experiences reinforced my belief in the power of education, perseverance, and service.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families build stronger, healthier lives. Before joining Los Angeles County, I spent five years working at various adult day health care centers as a social worker, program director, and administrator, where I developed a deep passion for serving the senior population and providing services to meet their needs. I then proudly served with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services for 16 years, retiring as a supervisor in 2023. Today, I continue serving families as the founder and CEO of Win-Win Relationship Learning Center, providing court-approved domestic violence, anger management, parenting, substance treatment, and anti-theft programs, as well as individual and family counseling services.
In addition to my professional work, I have actively served Walnut as a community leader, board member, commissioner and volunteer. My life’s work has always centered on serving others, and one belief has always guided me: while no one person can change the entire world, each of us can make a meaningful difference in our own community. I believe that when we lead with compassion, kindness, and service, those efforts create a ripple effect that benefits generations to come.
As your City Council member, I will work to keep Walnut safe, fiscally responsible, and family-focused while preserving the exceptional quality of life that makes our city so special.
I would be honored to earn your trust, your support, and your vote.
Together, let’s preserve what makes Walnut special while building an even stronger future.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Dr. Hong Diana Zhao, LCSW
